Stan Darling Insurance is bought by an insurance company from Ontario.

The independent insurance agency known as Stan Darling Insurance has just been purchased by a group of insurance industry professionals based in Ontario.

Kevin McKinnon serves as the leader of the group of potential purchasers, which also includes David Elliott, David Kennedy, and Greg Kruk. They have a total experience that exceeds fifty years when it comes to operating and managing insurance brokerages all around the province of Ontario. During the process of the transaction, the Commonwell Mutual Insurance Group (CMIG) participated as a strategic partner.

In 1938, Stan Darling Insurance was established as a company. The brokerage has offices located in the Northern Ontario region, and its operations are centered in the Parry Sound and Muskoka area. It provides insurance for households as well as commercial enterprises. The sale of Stan Darling coincides with the announcement that Stephen Darling, principle of the company and owner, will be retiring.

Kevin McKinnon will manage the existing staff through the transition to the new ownership and will take on the role of managing partner in each of the Stan Darling offices. The new owners have purchased the company. Stephen Darling will stay employed by the firm in order to monitor and supervise the transfer of all teams. Jason Darling, who is also a partner at Stan Darling, will continue to work for the company and will take on the role of account manager.
