StoneRidge Insurance Brokers joins forces with another broker.

StoneRidge Insurance Brokers (SIB) has joined forces with DeJong’s Insurance Ltd., which is based in Calgary, AB.

Since 1962, Tim DeJong and his family have owned and run DeJong’s on their own. The brokerage has two offices that focus on different types of insurance, such as home and car insurance for individuals and large business insurance.

Tim DeJong, the owner and founder of DeJong, said, “We are excited to join SIB’s growing presence in western Canada.” “We think that partnering with SIB will give us access to more markets and resources so that we can keep giving our customers the best service in the industry.”

“DeJong’s is a great business, and it gave SIB a great chance to grow in Alberta,” said Ted Puccini, president and chief executive officer of SIB. “We’re glad Tim has faith in us and are looking forward to working together.”

Puccini also said that SIB has completed five transactions so far in 2022, which is good news for the company’s full-year expansion plans. He also said that six more transactions are likely to close in the “next 60 days.”

In July, SIB completed its most recent deal, which was a partnership with the insurance brokerage firm Knight Archer Insurance, which offers a broad range of services. There are a total of 17 Knight Archer offices located throughout the provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. As part of the agreement, Tracy Archer, president and chief executive officer of Knight Archer, will take on the role of president of SIB’s operations in Western Canada.
