Ziad Alex Tadmoury, who was most recently the manager of FM Global’s Asia-Pacific division, has been promoted to the position of senior vice president and division manager of AFM at the commercial property insurer FM Global. He takes over for Gerry Alonso, who retired in July of last year after 37 years of service to the company.
AFM is a leading provider of insurance for clients in the middle market, and it does it through a carefully chosen network of broker partners. It has office sites in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and it covers more than 90 countries worldwide.
As part of his new position, Tadmoury will be based at the AFM corporate headquarters in Johnston, Rhode Island, in the United States. After beginning his career at FM Global in 1989 as an analyst for reinsurance claims, he went on to fill a variety of jobs in both the London and Paris offices. Tadmoury relocated to FM Global’s corporate offices in 2012, where he occupied increasingly high top positions, resulting in the role of interim president and CEO of Hobbs Brook management and operations senior vice president, compliance and real estate. Tadmoury left these posts in 2018. 2019 is the year that he took on his most recent duty.
Tadmoury has a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Saint Louis University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in quantitative business analysis from Indiana University.
